Jasper Nighthawk ’19 (Antioch Los Angeles, MFA) is Antioch’s Storyteller / Writer. You can find his features and profiles on Common Thread and in the Antioch Alumni Magazine. Lauren Instenes recently completed her MA in oral history from Columbia University and is a passionate storyteller who uses digital media to amplify voices and stories that often go unheard. You can find her most recent work at midwestqueerspaces.com.

Dr. Y. “Falami” Devoe is a Womanist scholar-activist, PhotoArtist, and poet with interdisciplinary interests at the intersections of race, class, gender, identity, sexuality, ethnography, and pedagogy. Dr. Falami’s work documents Black women’s experiences of resilience, resistance, agency, and affirmation. She is passionate about the voices of Black women and how critical these voices are in creating new narratives and sustainable practices of healing, liberation, and well-being. She is currently a faculty member of the Individualized Master of Arts (IMA) program at Antioch University and hosts …And The Conversation Continues, a podcast highlighting important conversations happening in the IMA program.

Simon Javan Okelo is a father, media creator, DJ, musician, producer, logistician, and entrepreneur with roots in Kenya, who uses digital media and real-life events to promote and celebrate a fresh narrative about the African and African American experience both locally and globally.
